Update: According to some news, it is known that the movie Barfee was shot in beautiful scenery of Darjeeling and Anurag Basu, the director had promised to launch the music of Barfee in Darjeeling but the music release is not happened yet. It is also learned that Barfee has a Nepali Actor Bhola raj Sapkota on it who is introduced to Basu by Prashant Rasailly ( Acharya, Kathaa). Rumor has it that Barfee has a Nepali song on it but it is also not confirmed yet.
Ranbir Kapoor starer Barfi Trailer is released yesterday. Directed by Anurag Basu, the movie (taking its name from sweet "Barfi") is about a guy who cannot speak and listen, but have charming abilities to deal with ladies. The movie also features Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D’Cruz in lead roles. Newly released trailer shows Ranbir Character in funny and juvenile scenes with a good background score but without any wordings. The movie is scheduled to release on September 14, 2012. In the trailer, we could see Ranbir Kapoor dancing with people dressed in traditional Nepali attire and a man is seen playing Panche Baja (Traditional Nepali Instrument), so is the movie shot in Nepal or in the city where majority people with origin from Nepal live.
