Morgan Freeman died today or a death hoax?

Morgan Freeman was declared dead in 8th September 2012, sparking panic among fans. However, the rumor has now been proven to to be another death hoax and the actor has been reported to be alive and well.A Facebook group was established earlier this week reporting that the actor had passed away, sparking a flurry of rumors and reports spreading across the Internet. However, one angry fan wrote: "What a jerk you are for writing this. Get a life!!"

Some fans have been expressing their distress at the news, although others immediately identified the report as a hoax and attempted to reassure others that Freeman was in fact still alive.
Others have been joking about the incident, saying that Freeman was God - a reference to his part in "Bruce Almighty" and "Evan Almighty" where he played the character of God.
The Facebook group that declared the death hoax has been "Liked" by more than 59,000 people, with many fans leaving their messages of condolences as posts under the news.Celebrity death hoaxes have become increasingly popular over recent months, and numerous websites have attempted to "kill off" famous celebrities in the hopes of gaining attention to their claims.
Last week Eddie Murphy was reported as dead by Global Associated News - a website which has now become notorious for faking death claims of the rich and famous.
According to the GAN: "The actor & novice snowboarder was vacationing at the Zermatt ski resort in Zermatt, Switzerland with family and friends. Witnesses indicate that Eddie Murphy lost control of his snowboard and struck a tree at a high rate of speed."
That fake report also sparked a wave of concerned fans to take to social media sites discussing the death.
However, for the eagle eyed readers there was a disclaimer contained at the bottom of the GAN article explaining that the story was completely fake and fabricated for "entertainment purposes."
Other fake celebrity deaths recently have been Bill Cosby, who said it was "not funny," as well as Rihanna, and British actor Robert Pattinson.

The Expendables 2 shot in Nepal??

Update: Though the movie says it's opening scene is from Nepal as mentioned in the first frame of the movie with Distreto Di Sindhupalchok, Nepal, it seems like the movie is either shot in a Hollywood studio or some other locations other than Nepal. Also all the mercenaries in the Nepal action are Chinese, resembling Mongolian People in Nepal. Here is a picture of the opening frame of the movie.

Sylvester Stallone Starer and Directorial act with 2010 successful movie The Expendables has a sequel The Expendables 2 and is going to release in Nepal from Saturday, one week after the Hollywood release. This time the movie has all star acts of the greatest and old action heroes of Hollywood from Stallone himself to Arnold Schwarzenegger to Jean Claude Van Damme to Chuck Norris to Jet Li to Jason Statham
Movie buffs has written that the opening scene of the movie takes place in Nepal, where The Expendables are deployed to rescue a Chinese Businessman and then the team, Barney Ross (Stallone), Lee Christmas (Jason Strathan), Yin Yang (Jet Li), Hale Caesar (Terry Crews), Toll Road (Randy Couture) and Gunner Jensen (Dolph Lundgren) takes on another assignment for Mr. Church (Bruce Willis) for the rest of the movie.
Though it is reported from Several media and reviews that the movie starts out with action from Nepal, it is not known if the movie is really shot in Nepal. It could only be known after watching the movie, releasing tomorrow in QFX Cinemas.

If you have already watched the movie, please feel free to write in comments if the movie has real shots from Nepal.

TDKR Review.

Yes, TDKR is here and the ultima Batman trilogy with Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne and his alter-ego 'Batman' is stunning and lives up to the hype it has been creating. But there are too many unbelievable shots that will keep your mouth open for sometime. Six minute long preview has lot to say about the movie where a plane is jacked by another plane from a group of mercenaries and there u get introduced to a mumbling but furious character having a metal respiratory mask in his face ..it's outrageous 'Bane' who is believed to be a child that is "forced by suffer and hardened with pain". And Batman is not shown mighty enough to stop Bane and his underground army to capture the Gotham city, implement their own martial law and set off a nuclear bomb inside the city (that sure lacks the heroic charm of the DC comics superhero). Two female leads, Selina Kyle (as Catwoman ...though not directly referred in the movie) and Miranda Tate's(played by Marion Cotillard) supportive and villainous role has the whole success and failure story of Bane as well as Batman.. but the who's who of the female leads is the main spoiler of the movie, other than the death of Batman in the end. Robin alike "Blake" played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt has the most outstanding role in the movie (sure Oscar nodd for Best Supporting Actor) along with three famous actors Gary Oldman as Police Commissioner Jim Gordon, Michael Caine as Alfred, and Morgan Freeman as Mr. Fox. Anne Hathaway leaves much stamp on the character "Cat-woman' with her witty, and impressive role.

The movie slips sometimes with the boredom talk of Bane, the "Mahabharat" like war (at least to people who know Hindu mythology) between Gotham Police/Batman and terrorizing Armies/Bane, the uninteresting economic tale about Wayne enterprise and the unbelievable shots.
Still Christian Nolan is too much clever in leaving a spectacular mark in the history of Cinema and a sure blockbuster from my side. With that who wants to compare it to The Dark Knight featuring Joker...... at least not me.....
And I predict the next Batman flick is to be Batman and Robin .... and that's gonna be fresh reboot...

Will Batman die at the end? (spoilers)

Dont Forget to Read TDKR Review here.
Speaking to Anne Hathaway about her role 'Catwoman' in the latest final installment of Batman movie TDKR, David Letterman in his late night show revealed Batman will be dead. But he appeared to be joking when he said "And at the end, Batman is dead". Anna Hathaway after a shocking pause told Letterman that he had no idea the wrath he had just incurred, and issuing an apology to director Christopher Nolan.

But does that mean Letterman revealed a major plot for the last Batman movie or is that just a joke..... movie buffs will find out today when the mystery unfolds for the 2 hours and 45 minutes epic movie. The movie is expected to do big in the box office.

TDKR preview.

The final installment of the Batman franchise starring Christian Bale, The Dark Knight Rises (TDKR) is coming this July and the expectation in people rises even higher to make it one of the most eagerly awaited movie of the year. Directed by Christopher Nolan who brought us dreams within dreams themed Inception along with other two Batman flicks. One of them being the critically and commercially acclaimed The Dark Knight (2008),that earned a posthumous oscar for Heath Ledger in the role of JOker. With such sensational Success in the previous movie, TDKR arives to people with immense blockbuster pressure and accolade hopes.

A six minute long preview of the movie introduces the villainous character Bane in the opening scene of the movie , played by Tom Hardy. The preview is outrageous and never been done before plot with the on board fights of the CIA agents with some mercenaries and Bane with some metal respirator mask in his head. The
tremendous strength combined with evil intention leaves much anticipation in people of the movie to be full action and leaves question in how Batman tackles the mumbling Bane and his mercenaries to save Gotham city. Other extravagant scenes include exploding football field, falling bridges and the sacking of Gotham City by mob. Anne Hathaway's femme fatale Catwoman is no mere sexpot and the seductive woman with enigmatic motive in the trailer unvield so far won't tell me her exact role in the movie.

Also there is more enthusiasm in people of how Nolan is going to end almost universally acclaimed Batman Trilogy, more than how he has put Bane vs Batman and Batman vs Catwoman plot in the movie.
What I believe is the end of the Latest Batman Trilogy surely surpasses all the people's expectation and possibly a OSCAR nod as well.

But, it's two weeks early to have a judgement on the movie and this will unfold on July 20, the release date to start from. It is still unknown when the finale Batman arrives in our very own QFX, Nepal. As India releases TDKR on July 20, we could at least expect it to be the same in our country but QFX has no any promo screening and poster on its official website.
Update: QFX has started showing the promo in the hall and the poster in the list of coming soon movies from today which states the release date to be July 20. This is a good news to all the movie buffs who were eagerly waiting for this movie.

Is 33 Tom Cruise's curse??

Tom Cruise seems to be unlucky with the number 33, as all his previous wives were in their early thirties when their marriage with the actor ended. Mimi Rogers, Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes all aged 33 at their time of divorce. Cruise had married Rogers when she was 31 in May of 1987 and was 33-years-old when they broke up in 1990.

He then married Kidman, the actors stayed together for 10 years and then split in 2001, when she was 33. The Top Gun star then married Holmes in 2006 when the Dawson’s Creeks actress aged 28.

And now, when the actress has filed for divorce this week, seeking sole custody of daughter Suri; she too has reached the age of 33, the Daily Mail reported. Moreover, in each case, divorce proceedings began when the wives were 33 and concluded when they turned 34.

The Amazing Spiderman Review.

New Spiderman series starts this week with The Amazing Spiderman, and it's not Spiderman-4, sequel to Sam Raimi's Spiderman trilogy. Marvel Entertainment adds different twist in building an origin of the popular marvel comic superhero Spiderman, and that's without Tobby Maguaire, Kisten Dunst and Sam Raimi. Amazing Spiderman has Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker, Emma Stone as Gwen, Martin Sheen as Uncle Ben and Marc Webb-the Director.  Also this time Peter Paker is no delivery guy nor a press photographer/reporter.

It's been a while since the last rocking movie School of Rock (so far I remember) that entertained people with classic rock and the musical story. And this time Guess who is going to make you Oh yeah! with your fingers raised! It's none other than Tinseltown's fav Tom Cruise rocking shirtless and tattoed as Stacee Jaxx alongside Joulianne Hough, Catherine Zeta Jones, Alec Baldwin, Russell Brand, Diego Boneta and many more in the adaptation of Broadway Musical "Rock Of Ages". Critics wooed Tom cruise performance in the movie and some even went ahead to tell a sure Oscar nod.

Quentin Tarantino and Django Unchained.

It's been a while since we enjoyed the cinematic excellence of director/producer/writer Quentin Tarantino, my Best Movie man from Hollywood and the man behind the hits like Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill, Hostel. He set afoot in this business as a independent film-maker and later established himself as peculiar film maker in the mainstream Hollywood. The last Movie Inglorious Bastards, was superb in delivering the thrills and chills a movie needs to make people glued to their seats and it went big in box-office making Tarantino's highest Grossing Movie.

Eight months ago, When I was searching Hostel III to be official movie from Tarantino or not, I had found Tarantino's next project would be Django Unchained, inspired from 1969 western movie Django. That time, it was rumored to cast Will Smith, Leonardo Dicaprio, Sacha Baron Cohen, Kevin Costner, Lady Gaga and later found Jammie Foxx confirmed to replace Will Smith. Now the movie already in the making and having official release date this Christmas, is known to star Jammie Foxx, Leonardo Dicaprio, Sacha Boran Cohen, Kurt Russell, Samuel L. Jackson. Here is a first officially released picture from the movie.

Anthony Hopkins to play Hitchcock.

Legendary Actor Anthony Hopkins is going to play famed director, Alfred Hitchcock who is the creator of the 1960 classic horror "Psycho". The movie entitled Hitchcock is based on the book Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho"by Stephen Rebello with a story of how Hitchcock made the horror flick in an era when people were skeptic of horror films. Sacha Gervasi (Anvil! The Story of Anvil) is directing Hitchcock, written by John McLaughlin (Black Swan) and based on the book by Stephen Rebello. Anthony Hopkins plays Hitchcock and is supported by a great cast including Helen Mirren, Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Biel and Ralph Macchio (Karate Kid).
Fox Searchlight released a picture of how Sir Anthony Hopkins looks like in the movie and he seems perfect with a bald cap and makeups.
