Flood in Pokhara ( with Video update)

Update: Nepal Army along with other authorities organized a press meet for this. They announced the origin of the flood to be the outburst of a temporary lake formed by the blockage of Seti river by Snow near the origin. Only two out of 13 dead body found, were identified. One student from Pokhara Technical college, and a local hotel owner were found dead. No further details are given about the no of missing people, and physical destruction by the flood. Other details are yet to come. But they announced there is no probability of further flood in Seti river as Nepal Army found no any  blockage in the river through helicopter survey.

Update: Avenues TV reports the total no of dead people found to be thirteen. Reports are only known from Khaarapani, the nearest site from Pokhara, but the actual scene from villages above could only be known after Helicopters to the site reports from there. Also the source of the flood is yet to be technically confirmed whether it's Avalanche or GLOF (Glacial Lake Outburst Flood). Now Seti river has abated but it's still bigger than the normal flow. Before around 20 times, variation in the level of Seti river has been observed today.

Avalanche in Annapurna Mountain Range triggers massive flood in Seti River in Pokhara on Saturday Morning. The flood swept away people along with their houses, farms, and cattle. Two picnic bus carrying students have also been swept away at Khaarapani. Fifty Persons have gone missing and nine person are found to be dead till now. Three person have been rescued but people believe the death total could rise.

Local people, Nepal Army, and Nepal Police have begun rescuing and searching for the missing ones through helicopters. Authorities reached there after direction from Prime Minister to do every measure for the rescue. Denizens in Pokhara are fearful of the flood to enter inside the city.
