T-Mobile to deploy Real 4G.

T-Mobile is looking to be the first carrier to launch "Real 4G" network, dubbed LTE Advanced-the next generation mobile Standard. OR are they going to market it with 5G LTE?
The carrier is already deploying and testing base stations that supports LTE Release 10 and will go live with the network next year. It is known that T-mobile will be upgrading 400 cell sites to LTE this June and that number to grow 2.5K sites by the end of July.
With spectrum re-farming and $4 billion investment for two years, T-Mobile is going to meet the bandwidth hungry customers demand. Plus with the flipping switch of Real 4G LTE, they are able to hook up with new devices including Apple iPhone as they are the only American carrier not selling iPhone.
LTE Advanced supports up to 40MHz channels, carrier aggregation, 8x8 MIMO antennas and has the ability to "use separate spectrum bands in a single service." This means much higher peak data rates and theoretically much more reliable connections for users.
Reportedly, T-Mobile will also be the first to deploy Voice over LTE, removing the need for 3G networks to carry voice.
