Former IG, Nepal Police, Achyut Krishna Kharel revealed K.P Dhungana's book entitled Open Secret in an event inside Nepal Police Academy, Exhibition Road. Shiva Gaunle, Nepal federation of Journalists and Kishor Nepal, Nagarik were also there to launch the book. K.P Dhungana is a Nagarik scribe with more than decade in journalism and to be precise six years in crime and security reporting.
According to K.P Dhungana, 'Open Secret' deals with seven real life murders in Nepal- from Mirza Dilshad Beg to Kamal Singh Nepali to Majid Munihar to Shaukat Beg to Jamim Shah to Yunus Ansari to Faizan Ahmed. These seven murders were alleged to have link with Indian/Pakistani Intelligence and the underground criminal groups. The book is known to be based on facts collected by the writer himself during reporting those murders in different time from 2055 to 2068 B.S. Rumor has it that the book reveals many secrets about the organized killing of the seven persons who were once tagged 'anti-Indians'.
Now that the book is in my hand today, I will start reading it and review it after completion.
Review to Follow.
