Update: Nepali Congress organizing Press meet to tell country about their thoughts on the CA extension and PM meeting President to tell the CA term extension.
Government in a meeting of council of minister has decided to extend CA tenure by 3 Months. Before that it is told that four parties ( Congress, UML, Maoists and Madhesi Morcha) agreed to this and directed government to register a CA term extension bill at the CA secretariat. Though Government decision is confirmed, UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal expressed his reservation over the extension. This decision is against the supreme court verdict of CA extension which means this years Jestha 14 is the ultimate date for New Constitution Promulgation after which CA should be dissolved and country should go for either referendum or fresh polls. Now the question is how will President responds to this as Prime Minister is meeting shortly with him. Also Nepalese people are eying on all this development and may respond tomorrow.
