New loadshedding schedule Jan 5, 2014 (Poush 21, 2070)

NEA (Nepal Electricity Authority)- the government owned sole authority for generating and distributing electricity in the country, has announced increase of loadshedding hours in the country,which is the second increase in a row for this month of Poush. With the new load-shedding routine effective from Jan 5, 2014 (Poush 21, 2070), there will be 12 hours power cut daily, which is increment of 3 hours per day from the previous schedule. 
Due to reduction of water level in the river, the country falls short of about 400 Mega watt electricity, compelling to cut the power for 80 hours per week, which may be increased more in coming days. The new loadshedding from push 21, Sunday will be having two shifts, each having 6 hours of power cut.
