Coming out of the four party meeting, UCPN-Maoists Vice Chairman and Deputy Prime Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha a.k.a Prakash breaks down in front of media persons, talking about the current crisis. He told reporters of the talks between four parties has failed due to adamant position of Congress and UML and Constituent assembly to be dissolved, plunging country into a vacuum. He accused Congress and UML to be irresponsible to save nation from the current crisis and institutionalize the different achievements from the CA. Just one day remaining for the tenure of Constituent Assembly, parties are in talks about the divulging issue of federal states in the New constitution. Madhesi Morcha and Maoists, the ruling coalition are of same thoughts for the establishment of federal states on the basis of one ethnicity where-as Congress, UML are together not to restructure Nepal on such basis.
As Congress UML accuses Maoists Madhesi Morcha for the current crisis, it is not clear what happened inside the Baluwatar meeting today that made Shrestha so negative of any compromise. Lets see how the political development unfolds within few hours from now. Uncertainty Looms!!!
