So Spain made it to the final in the penalty shoot out against Portugal. Though the game was very intense and lot of chances for the both teams,120 minutes of game was not enough to have at least one goal, as defense was stronger than the attack for both the team. Bruno Alve's miss for Portugal was the crucial one that made Spain go through before that, Iniesta, Pepe, Nani, Ramos kicked the ball to the net in the shoot-out and ultimately Fabregas had the ultimate winning shot. All left out in the shoot out was Captian himself ...May be Christiano Ronaldo reserved himself to do the winning shot that never game. As predicted earlier, Spain went to the final, but not in the normal time, not the predicted score and not even in the extra time and that's unbelievable. Now, the question is who will meet Spain in the finals: the result of the second semi-final match : Is it gonna be Germany or is it Italy? See my prediction here. Germany vs Italy prediction Euro 2012.
Unbeaten Germany and Italy both enter into the semi-final match after Italy beats England in a penalty shoot-out. Earlier Germany got an easy win over Greece with 4-2 score to go through the semi-finals. Keeping its defensive line firm, Italy need to boost up their offensive strategy to score multiple goals against the offensive giant Germany. Mario Gomez, Mesut Ozil are the players to see from Germany whereas Antonio Di Natale, Mario Balotelli are the ones from Italian side. Italian need to outscore Germans and if they manage to force a draw to penalty shoot-out then the result is on their side.
